The following are common packaging machine failures and solutions, which are based on the repair experience from multiple sources:
‌Heat sealing system failure‌
Loose sealing: Check whether the temperature is too low (120-180℃ is recommended), whether the material is evenly distributed, and whether the pressure is balanced. The parameters need to be adjusted and the edges of the material need to be trimmed.‌
Seal deviation: Recalibrate the heat sealer body positioning device and check whether the mechanical structure is loose.‌
Temperature out of control: Replace the temperature regulator or thermocouple and check the short circuit problem.‌
‌Motor and transmission failure‌
Motor stall: Check the control lever jam, starting capacitor failure (common in paper feeding motors), or stepper motor driver damage (common in bag pulling motors).

Abnormal noise: Bearings/gears are worn and need to be replaced. The transmission belt needs to adjust the tension and add lubricating oil regularly.
Spindle stuck: If the packaging machine cannot rotate, adjust the movable handle to maintain the front and rear spacing to avoid contact with the friction plate.‌
‌Material handling problem‌
Packing bag tearing: Reduce the torque of the bag pulling motor and adjust Proximity switch sensitivity or cam spacing (3-5mm is appropriate)
Inaccurate powder metering: replace a thinner screw or dense-tooth plastic nozzle, check the uniformity of material density and leakage
Unstable liquid feeding: dredge the blocked pipeline and calibrate the installation position of the plug
Unusual faults in vacuum packaging
Insufficient vacuum: replace the contaminated pump oil, clean/replace the filter, and use soapy water to detect the leak in the pipeline
No air extraction: Check whether the vacuum nozzle is blocked (can be dredged with a saw blade) and whether the sealing rubber ring is aging
Uneven seal: adjust the heating time to match the temperature, and replace the damaged airbag
Electrical and control system
Sensor failure: clean the sensor head, recalibrate the sensitivity, and check the line connection
Sudden shutdown: check for circuit breaker tripping, power fluctuations, or poor contact of the emergency stop button
Abnormal PLC signal: If the weighing system fails, check the sensor position deviation or loose screws
Regular maintenance is recommended: clean and lubricate the transmission parts every month, calibrate the sensor parameters, and check the stability of the electrical circuit. When encountering complex circuits or core component failures, it is recommended to contact professional maintenance personnel
