The doypack packing machine uses a reciprocating design rather than a rotary turret. This linear motion is simpler, has fewer moving parts, and is easier to maintain. The operator manually loads a stack of pre-made doypacks into the rear magazine. The doypack packing machine automatically picks a stand-up pouch, opens it with a dedicated bottom spreading device that pushes open the gusseted bottom, holds it open while the operator manually fills the product, then automatically seals and discharges the finished doypack. A foot pedal can also be used to trigger the sealing cycle after the operator places the filled doypack.
Semi-Automatic and Automatic Options for Doypack Packing
We offer two versions of this small scale doypack packing machine. The semi-automatic version requires the operator to place the product into the opened doypack. The doypack packing machine then seals and ejects the bag automatically. This version costs the least and is perfect for very low volume or products that vary in size. The fully automatic version includes a small volumetric filler or auger filler mounted above the doypack opening. The operator only needs to keep the doypack magazine filled and the product hopper topped up. The doypack packing machine does everything else.
Filling Options for Small Scale Doypack Packing Machine
For powders, we offer a mini auger filler with a 5 liter hopper for doypack applications. Accuracy is plus or minus 1 to 2 grams depending on powder flow characteristics. For liquids, we offer a mini piston filler with 100 to 500 milliliter per stroke capacity for doypacks. For granules and whole products like nuts or candies in doypacks, a small hand-fed hopper with a slide gate allows the operator to control fill volume visually.
